Job Description
We are looking for an OT or COTA to provide service in our clinic from 9-6pm Monday-Thursday with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. You get paid regardless of cancelations and no-shows. We schedule no more than 5 patients back-to-back and schedule breaks to prepare for sessions and to complete documentation. We are a small company of 7-10 therapists; we focus on making progress with our families, as well as expanding the education of our families and employees. All hires are paid as employees, PTO and 401K is considered after 3-6 months, scheduling and billing is done by office staff, not therapists. COTA pay generally ranges from $30-35/hr OT pay generally ranges from $45-50/hr This job requires the following:
- experience evaluating pre-school aged to school-aged students (n/a for COTA)
- experience writing evaluation reports (OT)
- experience documenting therapy data (OT/COTA)
- a Texas OT or COTA license
- experience providing occupational therapy to students
- a personality that enjoys working with children, being physically active, understanding and playing at the child's level
- self-motivation to complete tasks and work independently
- the ability to collaborate with colleagues and families
- a personality that is receptive to suggestions and constructive criticism
