In this role, you will work directly with patients in their homes, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life following illness, injury, or disability. Key Responsibilities Provide therapy services based on care plans developed by a licensed occupational therapist Assist patients with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and meal preparation Teach patients how to safely use adaptive equipment and assistive devices Monitor patient progress and accurately document treatment outcomes Educate patients and caregivers on safety, mobility, and independence techniques Communicate regularly with supervising therapists and healthcare team members Travel to patient homes within assigned service areas Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current state licensure/certification (Texas OTA license required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
