Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in the rehabilitation setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care outcomes. Implement prescribed therapeutic interventions and adjust approaches based on patient progress. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress reports. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure understanding of treatment goals and progress.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) or related field from an accredited program. Valid Texas COTA License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 1 year LTC experience. Proven experience working in rehabilitation settings. Prior experience in a PRN or flexible scheduling role. Ability to commute 45 minutes to 1 hour for work assignments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work 1-3 days per week with variable start times. Dependable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in CPR (preferred).
