Lifepoint Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA),
Medical Surgical, PRN Location:
National Park Medical Center - 1911 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901
Shift:

How You'll contribute: We're on the lookout for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who brings compassion, attention to detail, and team spirit to every patient interaction. If you're passionate about helping others reclaim independence and thrive in daily life, we want to hear from you. Report patient progress and concerns to supervising therapists and collaborate with the care team. Educate families and nursing staff on supportive follow-through programs. Tackle the details and assist with scheduling and accurately post patient charges to records. Document care clearly and compliantly, meeting all regulatory, licensure, payer, and accrediting standards. Foster a safe, organized, and clean treatment environment for everyone. Operate with integrity, aligning with our Code of Business Conduct and all applicable policies and laws. Jump in wherever you're needed to support the team and our patients' success.
Qualifications and requirements:
Candidates are required to maintain certification from both the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree Current and valid state OTA license or certificate of practice or equivalent in the states where services are rendered CPR certification (when required) Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
