Jonesboro, AR Overview Job Summary Delivers therapeutic occupational therapy intervention under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist according to a written plan of care to meet established goals. Provides treatment, participates in discharge planning, andmunicates findings and progress according to professional licensure/certification, scope of practice and departmental/discipline policies and procedures. Produces other reports as needed. May supervise clinical students and support staff including certified/licensed assistants, technicians, and volunteers. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health, and healing. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities Provides treatment under supervision of licensed occupational therapist Provides discharge planning information, which includes patient/family education, follow-up, and referral tomunity resources. Contributes to the development of staff and students. Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery Completes assigned goals Specifications Experience Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Education Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Training Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Minimum Required Basic Skills. Preferred/Desired Licensure Minimum Required Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in state of practice; BLS certification within 14 days of hire date Preferred/Desired
