COTA- Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant Opportunity Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated COTA to join our in-house therapy team at The Springs of Waldron in Waldron, AR. As a COTA, you will work closely with our therapy staff to provide individualized treatments to our residents, focusing on improving their physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident progress and treatment plans Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Provide support and education to residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapy programs and goals Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment, adhering to facility policies and proceduresRequirements:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program Current state licensure/certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Minimum of 0 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staffAbout The Springs of Waldron:
