As an itinerant Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll collaborate with supervising OTs to deliver high-quality therapy services to students with mild to severe needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, valid in Arizona Ability to obtain or possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with a range of student needs Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable managing a caseload across multiple locations Commitment to fostering student development and independence

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs Travel between approximately three school sites to meet student needs Collaborate closely with supervising occupational therapists, teachers, and other specialists Document interventions, track progress, and contribute to IEP meetings Adapt and implement therapeutic activities tailored to each student's abilities Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
