Opportunity to support students in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic support to students with various needs within the school setting. Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Assist in evaluating students' abilities and progress. Support students with mobility and behavioral challenges. Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or equivalent from an accredited program. State licensure or certification to practice as an OTA in Arizona. CPR/BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a school setting. Familiarity with pediatric therapies and educational environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and students. Ability to lift, position, and assist children with mobility needs. Must pass background checks and other facility‑required screenings. Flexibility to adapt to dynamic school environments and schedules.
