Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Home Health KPG Home Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel assignment serving patients in the Phoenix, Arizona area. This is a great opportunity for a COTA looking for a consistent assignment, competitive weekly compensation, and the flexibility of providing one-on-one care in the home health setting.

$1,600 per week
Mileage:
Reimbursement provided for patient-to-patient travel Responsibilities The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities include:
Provide occupational therapy treatments according to the established plan of care Assist patients with improving strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence Provide training related to activities of daily living and home safety Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate care with OTs, nurses, physical therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Maintain compliance with agency policies and applicable Medicare and home health requirements Travel between patient homes throughout the assigned service territory Qualifications Current Arizona COTA license or eligibility for Arizona licensure Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently in a home health environment Previous home health experience preferred Why Join KPG Home Health?
