Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to varying student needs within an elementary caseload Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Arizona Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journeys

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy services to elementary-aged students Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to help students reach their goals Work effectively with teachers, staff, and families to create a supportive learning atmosphere Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Develop and modify activities to promote student engagement and independence Support students fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills in the classroom setting
