About Us:
We are a private pediatric occupational therapy clinic committed to providing compassionate, individualized care for children and families. Our practice is rooted in a neurodiversity-affirming approach, celebrating and respecting the unique strengths and needs of every child. We strive to create a supportive and collaborative environment for our team members to grow and thrive. We are a newer clinic and are looking to grow our team to continue to provide quality services to children in NW Tucson.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children of all abilities, open to learning about neurodiversity-affirming practices, and committed to helping children achieve their goals through evidence-based and play-centered therapy. This position will include part of the time in the clinic as well as part of the time doing in-home and community based services in NW Tucson. Little Rainbow Pediatric Therapy also offers aquatic therapy services, which is not required but offered if interested.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, including standardized assessments and clinical observations (for occupational therapists only). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address sensory, motor, social, and emotional needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the child's development and participation in daily activities. Participate in treatment sessions in the aquatic environment and maintain proper safety at all times. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Contribute to a positive and inclusive clinic culture.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program or Occupational Therapy Associate's degree from an accredited program. 2 years of experience in pediatrics preferred Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant Experience working with children, particularly those with neurodevelopmental differences, is preferred. Must have or be able to obtain: AHCCCS number and National Provider ID (NPI) number Level I Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card Strong communication and collaboration skills.
