Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in educational settings as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a rewarding contract assignment in the area around Chino, CA. This full-time opportunity spans five days a week, supporting students across three diverse school sites that include elementary and high school campuses. The role offers the chance to collaborate with other professionals, engage with students at different grade levels, and develop your skills in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential Experience delivering occupational therapy interventions in a school setting preferred Ability to work effectively with children from elementary through high school age Strong communication and collaboration skills Comfortable traveling between multiple school sites during the week Knowledge of educational documentation and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy support to students at two elementary schools and one high school Follow and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) under the supervision of an occupational therapist Assist students in developing functional skills needed for academic and daily life success Track student progress and document sessions as required by school guidelines Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to address student needs Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding student progress
