Desired Qualifications:

Current COTA certification and state license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous pediatric or school-based COTA experience strongly preferred Ability to work with diverse student populations in K-12 settings Competence in administering therapeutic interventions, following IEP goals, and maintaining accurate records Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families Collaborative spirit, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset Recent graduates or those new to school-based settings are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an OTR/L for K-12 students Assist in conducting assessments, documenting student progress, and supporting the IEP process Implement individualized activities designed to enhance students' participation, motor skills, and independence within academic and social settings Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students' overall development Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation in accordance with district and state requirements Adapt therapy approaches to suit varying abilities and learning needs
