Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Embrace an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their growth and success within a cooperative school environment. As a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll help create an inclusive atmosphere for K-12 learners, providing valuable therapeutic services throughout the academic year. This contract position starts as soon as possible and continues until the conclusion of the current school year. Working closely with a supportive interdisciplinary team, you'll champion students' functional independence in both the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications and Skills:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Valid state COTA license (or eligibility to obtain before start date) Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt to the unique needs of students across all grade levels (K-12)
Responsibilities:
Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions as directed by a licensed OT Support students' development of sensory, fine motor, and adaptive skills to enhance their participation in school activities Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment Document progress and communicate results to supervising therapist, educational staff, and families Assist with assessments and contribute to educational planning for students This position offers the chance to enrich your professional journey by impacting the lives of students every day. Compensation for this position ranges from $28.67 to $48.67. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
