SCH-Sutter Coast Hospital Position Overview:
Provides Occupational therapy treatments per plan of care and as directed. May, in accordance with State laws and regulations, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments within scope of the plan of care established by the supervising occupational therapist. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May serve as clinical instructor for assigned students.
Job Description :
EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
OTA-Occupational Therapist Assistant BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
1 year of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Critical thinking and problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice. Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements. Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements. Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies. Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities. Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills. Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Pay Range is $40.61 to $56.85 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
