Starting August 3rd, you'll play an integral part in supporting students' functional independence and overall growth, working full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Key Qualifications:

Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply Understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and experience with pediatric populations Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, educators, and families Strong communication and organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the occupational therapist in implementing therapy plans and interventions tailored to each student's needs Support students in developing functional skills for classroom participation and daily living Maintain accurate records of student progress and session activities Collaborate with teachers and staff to incorporate therapy strategies into classroom routines Attend meetings and contribute to IEP documentation as needed Engage families to support continuity of care and student development
