Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience within school-based settings is strongly preferred Proven ability to collaborate with OTs, teachers, administrators, and families Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized and group therapy sessions Implement treatment plans designed to meet students' physical, social, and academic needs Adapt activities and environments to support access and participation in the classroom Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and assist in the development of IEP goals Participate in team meetings and collaborate on intervention strategies Educate staff and caregivers regarding adaptations and support techniques
