Physical or Occupational Therapist (PT, OT, PTA, COTA accepted)

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility
• Conduct patient assessments, plan of cares
• Administer therapy sessions to improve patients' mobility and maximize independence
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises for continued progress
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of therapy techniques and practices
• Ability to assess patients abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Understanding of human anatomy and physiology related to physical mobility
• Familiarity with medical terminology used in a skilled nursing setting
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work in a post acute environment with compassion and empathy for patients' needs.
