Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant supporting students from November through March. This contract position offers the chance to make a real impact, working just two days per week with the flexibility to choose which days best fit your schedule.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school-based setting highly preferred Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, therapists, and families Adaptability and creativity in tailoring therapy interventions to individual student needs Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activities
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the occupational therapist in delivering therapy services to students, focusing on their educational and developmental goals Implement individualized treatment plans during therapy sessions Support classroom staff with strategies to reinforce students' skills throughout the school day Collect data and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records Participate in meetings as needed to discuss student growth and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Encourage a positive, supportive environment that nurtures students' growth and confidence
