We are looking to add to our newly formed in-house Rehab Team to further develop our home-like environment and help our residents achieve their rehabilitation goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. REQUIREMENTS

CPR Certification is mandatory. A valid Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license is required. 1-2 years of experience in long-term care is preferred. Good physical and mental health is essential. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions. Possess the training, knowledge, and experience to perform general duties under supervision.

REPORTING

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant reports to the supervising Occupational Therapist and the Rehabilitation Director.

JOB DUTIES

Understanding of physical medicine, therapeutic modalities, anatomy, and physiology. Familiarity with operating, maintaining, and repairing physical therapy equipment. Administering treatment and rehabilitation services to patients with injuries or disabilities. Following treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist. Monitoring and documenting patient treatment and progress. Assisting in the development of educational plans based on individual learning needs. Ensuring documentation complies with current standards and policies. Adhering to the facility's policies and procedures. IND123
