This role is a great opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working closely with young children and families in a collaborative, relationship-centered environment. Our clinic takes a holistic approach to care and uses individualized, play-based strategies to support children's development, movement, sensory needs, and daily functioning. We are especially interested in candidates with experience supporting young children and families, including those with backgrounds in pediatric feeding, neuromotor development, or Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). Position Details Approximately 30-36 hours per week Primarily clinic-based position Occasional in-home visits may be available or needed In-person position located in North Hollywood, California Collaborative pediatric therapy environment What You'll Do Working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA will help provide individualized therapy services and support treatment plans designed around each child's unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities may include:

Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Work with pediatric clients, including infants and young children. Support children's sensory, motor, developmental, and functional goals through engaging and individualized activities. Incorporate play and movement into therapy sessions. Partner with families and caregivers to support carryover and participation in everyday life. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Maintain clear communication and contribute to a positive, collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications Required:

Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Experience working with children ages 0-3. Ability to work effectively in an in-person pediatric clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Experience in pediatric occupational therapy or neurorehabilitation. Experience or interest in pediatric feeding therapy. Experience with Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI). Familiarity with sensory processing, neuromotor development, and family-centered care. DMI certification or prior DMI experience is not required.
