Full Job Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Travel Pay:
$1900+/week Local pay: $42/hr

SNF Educational Requirement:
Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program. Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). State licensure or registration as a certified occupational therapy assistant. Preferred 1 year working in SNF setting and experience in Net Health (new grads encouraged to apply!) Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Compassion and empathy for patients facing physical or mental challenges.
Job Summary:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides quality care to all residents. Under the direction of a registered Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ("COTA") helps plan and implement patient treatment, plan, and coordinate patient discharge, and prepare detailed progress reports and appropriate patient documentation. Treatments will include training in daily living activities, functional skills, motor development, compensation techniques, use of adaptive equipment and splinting.
