Qualifications & Experience:
Valid COTA certification (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of pediatric therapy best practices Comfortable working collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to multiple school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students following individualized education plans (IEPs) Assist the supervising occupational therapist in planning and implementing interventions Accurately document student progress and session details Support classroom staff with strategies to enhance student participation in daily activities Travel between multiple school sites as scheduled Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students
