Job Description

Step into an impactful role supporting students' growth and functional skills as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity is based in a vibrant educational setting, located near Riverside, CA, and runs from ASAP through the end of the school year. You'll play a key part in helping students achieve greater independence and participation within their school environment.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification and state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) School-based experience highly regarded, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered Familiarity with developing and implementing therapeutic interventions in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities Ability to work a consistent schedule—40 hours per week, through the end of the school year
Core Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of individualized and group occupational therapy sessions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist Assist in assessing students' fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success in school-related tasks and activities Document student progress, monitor response to interventions, and help adjust therapy plans as needed Contribute to IEP meetings and paperwork as required by the team
