Job Summary Join our dynamic team here at Calicare Staffing as a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout the Inland Empire, including select facilities in Claremont, Pomona, Ontario, Riverside, Indio, and Palm Springs. Calicare Staffing is a premiere Therapy staffing agency dedicated to providing you with on-call work in areas throughout California. Your expertise will help patients regain independence, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life through tailored treatment plans. Compensation will be based upon the specific location, facility, and area you choose to work in.
PT/OT/SLP
$58-$65, based on years of licensed experience.
COTA/PTA
$42-$45, based on years of licensed experience. Duties Assess patients' physical, occupational, or speech needs through detailed evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical standards. Implement evidence-based therapy techniques such as physiotherapy, trigger point therapy, and neurology interventions to promote recovery and functional improvement. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health records (EHR) systems while adhering to medical terminology and clinical documentation standards. Conduct discharge planning by preparing care plans that facilitate seamless transition from hospital to home or community settings. Engage with patients of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—delivering compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Participate in ongoing training related to outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedics, anatomy knowledge, and physiotherapy advancements to stay current with industry best practices. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification relevant to the specific role (e.g., PT license, OT license, SLP certification). Proven experience working in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and treatment plan development. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with geriatric patients and pediatric populations in diverse clinical settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and care coordination. Experience in discharge planning, patient rehabilitation programs, and working within outpatient rehabilitation centers.
