Start Date:
Flexible COTA Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy support to students under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist Assist with implementing individualized therapy programs Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills Work with students with disabilities and developmental needs Assist with activities aligned with IEP goals Monitor and document student progress Collaborate with OTs, teachers, special education staff, and families Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements Required:
Current California COTA license/registration or ability to obtain one Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current CPR/BLS certification Minimum 1 year of recent COTA experience
Preferred:
School-based COTA experience Previous travel therapy experience Experience working with students with disabilities Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy services Why Southern California?
