Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) $30-$38/hour depending on experience + $1,500 sign-on bonus Little Sprouts Therapy Center | Temecula, CA Are you a COTA who loves working with children but doesn't love the burnout, productivity pressure, and documentation that can come with pediatric therapy? Our office is open Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, and closed Fridays. What you'll do: As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant , you'll provide skilled occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to children with a variety of developmental and functional needs.
Our caseload includes children with:
Autism spectrum disorders Sensory processing differences Fine motor delays Attention and regulation difficulties Activities of daily living (ADL) deficits Feeding difficulties Developmental delays And other pediatric diagnoses You'll implement individualized treatment plans, provide skilled interventions, document patient progress, communicate with families, and collaborate closely with OTs, SLPs and other members of our therapy team. Pediatric experience is preferred. Pediatric feeding experience is a plus. We are willing to provide training and mentorship for the right COTA who has a strong interest in pediatric therapy. We're looking for a COTA who: Has graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Holds a current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license Holds current NBCOT certification Has experience working with children and families Is enthusiastic about working in a pediatric setting Communicates professionally and works well as part of a team Demonstrates good clinical judgment Is comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems Maintains patient confidentiality and professionalism Can meet the physical demands of pediatric therapy, including frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and twisting and lifting up to 40 pounds New graduates are welcome to apply.
