Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Join Our Team! We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The COTA will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans that promote independence, improve functional skills, and enhance participation in daily activities across educational or clinical settings. Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, visual-motor integration, coordination, and functional independence. Collect data, document treatment sessions, and report progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Adapt therapy activities and equipment to meet individual needs and maximize participation. Collaborate with families, educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members to support therapy goals. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state, federal, and organizational requirements. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
