Job Summary Hencetek is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility in Victorville, CA . In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life. Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Assist patients with therapeutic activities focused on improving daily living skills and functional independence. Monitor, document, and report patient progress and responses to treatment. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs. Support the implementation of individualized treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations. Collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program. Active California COTA License (or eligible). Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred). Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
