Responsibilities Provide OTA treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Implement and progress individualized care plans to improve functional independence Assist with ADL, mobility, and adaptive equipment training Accurately document treatments, patient response, and progress in EMR systems Collaborate with OTs, nurses, physicians, and rehab teams on care plans Educate patients and families on home exercises and safety strategies Contribute to discharge planning and recommendations for ongoing services Maintain compliance with state licensure, payer, and facility regulations Participate in orientation for new assignments and diverse clinical settings Uphold clinician-first, patient-centered, and ethical care standards Required Skills Occupational therapy treatment implementation Knowledge of OT practice frameworks and interventions ADL and functional skills retraining Use and fitting of adaptive equipment and DMEGeriatric and adult rehab techniques Pediatric treatment approaches (if applicable setting) EMR documentation and rehab treatment planning Therapeutic exercise and activity grading Patient and family education skills Interdisciplinary team collaboration
