Occupational Therapist Sign-on incentive ($6000 for full-time hires) Company Description Beacon Services of Connecticut provides home-based pediatric services for families with infants, toddlers from birth to three years of age. Our interdisciplinary teams collaborate to support families, offering evidence-based interventions at a critical time in a child's development. Job Description Our Occupational Therapists deliver intervention to families where they live by supporting the evaluation of young children's current abilities using developmental and motor assessments. Clinicians interpret evaluation results, work as part of a team to develop individualized plans and use evidence-based intervention to facilitate children's participation within the home and community. Clinicians also support the transition from community to school services. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy Current state licensure Some pediatric experience helpful but not required Critical Skills Strong communication abilities to build rapport with families and confidently explain information Ability to work efficiently, systematically, and with good attention to detail Teamwork mindset to collaborate with others to meet family needs Willingness to learn and grow on the job Things to Know Beacon places a high value on providing excellent training and support to new and current clinicians We believe in fair compensation and incentives for exceptional work We provide a degree of flexibility in scheduling so clinicians can balance the demands of work and home Working Conditions Working in family homes and community settings.
