Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As an OTA, you will work with patients to help them gain independence and improve their quality of life. Duties:

• Evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to address patients' specific needs
• Assist patients in improving their motor skills, coordination, and range of motion
• Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Provide guidance and support to patients' families and caregivers
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid state license AND certification
• Proven experience working with a diverse range of patients, including pediatrics and adults
• In-depth knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and therapeutic techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
