Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Boca Raton, FL Full-Time | Part-Time Opportunities Available Competitive Compensation Package The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents improve daily living skills, independence, and overall quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated rehabilitation professional who is passionate about resident-centered care and teamwork. Responsibilities Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic interventions to help residents improve functional independence and daily living skills Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements Assist residents with activities related to mobility, self-care, coordination, strength, and adaptive techniques Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and treatment goals as directed Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures Qualifications Active Florida Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in good standing Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused Strong organizational and documentation abilities Benefits Competitive compensation package Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Our Team?
