Full Job Description About Us:
At Koala ABA & Learning Centers, we are dedicated to supporting children with autism and developmental differences through comprehensive, multidisciplinary care. Our team includes ABA, Speech, OT, and Music Therapy professionals working together to help children achieve their fullest potential.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide therapeutic services that promote independence, skill development, and improved quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising OT. Support children in areas such as fine/gross motor skills, self-care, sensory regulation, and functional independence. Collect accurate data and maintain session documentation in compliance with Koala ABA standards. Collaborate with OTs, BCBAs, RBTs, and other team members to ensure coordinated care. Provide family education and caregiver support as directed by the supervising OT.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current OTA licensure in the state of Florida. Experience working with children, preferably in autism or pediatric therapy settings. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. Ability to work per diem, with flexible availability as needed.
