As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), at Achieve Therapy Services, you will be providing therapeutic services to the pediatric population. Duties:

Performs therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises and instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and mobility training, as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist. Contributes to the effectiveness of occupational therapy by identifying patient care issues. Instructs and counsels patients, and families, by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance. Help pediatric patients regain or improve motor skills through therapeutic exercises and activities. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations, and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Required Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program. Current licensure as Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Florida.
