Job Description

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant At Neuromov we provide Outpatient occupational therapy services, enabling clients to receive essential care in the comfort of their own homes or at our clinic. Our goal is to enhance our clients' ability to perform daily activities and improve their quality of life through personalized, home-based care. See 6 to 7 patients a day and make your own schedule. Work closely with a neuro occupational therapist and work towards your certifications to grow in your position. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid OTA license and at least one year of experience, particularly in working with geriatric populations or in an inpatient rehab. You will support clients in their home environments, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve greater independence. Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Therapy Plans:
    Carry out occupational therapy interventions and activities as prescribed by a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • Assist with
ADLs:
Help clients perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Document Progress:
    Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition.
  • Educate Clients:
    Provide guidance to clients and their families on adaptive techniques and use of equipment to improve daily functioning.
  • Coordinate Care:
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, other healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications
  • License:
  • Valid Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably in geriatric care.
  • Transportation:
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Independence:
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to various home environments.
  • Tech Proficiency:
  • Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation Active CPR certification What We Offer
