Position Overview:
As a COTA with Child and Family Consultants, you'll work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide compassionate care and therapy to pediatric patients. You'll play a vital role in helping children achieve their developmental goals, working collaboratively with families to empower them with the skills they need.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct patient care and therapy to pediatric patients.
  • Assess the functional needs of each child in collaboration with the supervising Occupational Therapist (OTR).
  • Instruct and support parents, caregivers, and family members on strategies to help children reach their therapeutic goals.
  • Provide guidance and education on managing daily activities safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress through daily notes.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification required.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
  • Passion for working with children and their families.
  • Ability to adapt and be creative in a lively pediatric environment
