Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about helping residents improve their quality of life through personalized care, rehabilitation, and support. Responsibilities Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide hands-on therapy services designed to improve mobility, coordination, and daily functional abilities. Assist residents in developing skills needed to maximize independence and quality of life. Monitor resident progress and communicate updates with the therapy and care teams. Maintain accurate documentation while following all regulatory and compliance standards. Protect resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations. Work collaboratively with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes. Qualifications Current and active Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required. Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A compassionate approach with a commitment to resident-centered care.
