K-12 Soliant Health is partnering with a school district in Okeechobee, Florida , to hire a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity allows you to work with K-12 students , helping them develop the skills needed to succeed both academically and in their daily activities. If you're passionate about supporting students and working alongside a collaborative therapy team, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals. Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed. Monitor student progress and communicate updates with the therapy team. Qualifications Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Active or eligible Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. School-based experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
