Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Advanced Orthopedic Center has been serving patients in the Southwest Florida area since 1980. Our top-notch team of physicians and surgeons along with our support staff of physician assistants, technicians and therapists offer comprehensive orthopedic care to patients of all ages. We are currently seeking a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. Summary The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services to patients in an orthopedic practice under the supervision and direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, in accordance with state licensure laws and professional standards. The COTA implements established treatment plans to improve functional outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal, post-surgical, and upper extremity conditions.
Qualifications Required:
Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current state licensure as a
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Preferred:
Minimum of two (2) years of COTA experience Orthopedic practice experience Experience with Medical Manager software or similar practice management systems Advanced Orthopedic Center offers a full range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, and paid time off.
Pay:
From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
