Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant-Pediatrics Job Overview Great opportunity to join Steps To Grow LLC, a therapist-owned and operated Pediatric Therapy Company. We are excited to be in need of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to meet our growing demand. Build your own flexible schedule, 8-40 hours a week. This is a 1099 position. $40 per hour, bi-annual supplies stipend, and license renewal reimbursement. Work with one OTR who is available for questions, mentorship, and handles all evaluations timely. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this opportunity! The COTA will treat a variety of pediatric clients under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist. We provide services in our office, schools, and occasionally homes. Duties Implement therapeutic interventions that promote independence in daily living skills, fine motor abilities, sensory regulation, and more. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive equipment. Monitor patient progress and communicate with supervising OTR as needed Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in compliance with medical standards. Stay informed about advancements in occupational health practices and integrate them into patient care. Follow treatment plans written by the evaluating therapist. Requirements Associate of Applied Science Degree Valid Florida OTA License Level II fingerprinting background

Driver's License Pay:

$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 40.0 per week
