Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Gulfport Nursing Center, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility located in beautiful Pasadena near the beaches, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for our residents Conduct evaluations, assessments, and interventions to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life Provide educational and therapeutic activities to promote resident independence and mobility Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to ensure seamless delivery of care and services Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of Florida Experience in the field of occupational therapy Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if necessary

Work Environment:
