Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem Responsibilities include: Providing occupational therapy services in patients' homes under supervision, adhering to state laws and treatment plans Instructing and aiding patients, families, and healthcare team members in evidence-based therapy within scope Observing, documenting, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to supervisors and physicians Demonstrating cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
Qualifications and Skills:
Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (state-specific)
Preferred:
CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Key Duties:
Delivering patient-centered care, following treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients and caregivers to promote recovery and independence.
