This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible and runs through June 2027, offering the chance to contribute to the growth and development of children and young adults from Pre-K through transition age (up to 22 years old). Your role will involve traveling between multiple school siteselementary, middle, and high schoolwithin the district. Schedules align with each campus, with a weekly commitment ranging from 35 to 37.5 hours, ensuring full-time engagement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active clinical license as a COTA from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Valid educator license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Prior experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting is highly valued Ability to complete time-sensitive onboarding, including fingerprinting per district requirements Flexibility to work across multiple sites and adapt to varied student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students ages Pre-K through 22 Collaborate actively with educators, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and facilitate student participation in school activities Document services and progress according to district and state guidelines Adapt activities and materials to individual student needs to ensure accessibility and promote independence This on-site position fosters connections with students and staff alike, allowing you to witness and celebrate the progress your interventions make possible.
