Make a difference in the lives of children by delivering essential occupational therapy services within a welcoming school environment close to Champaign, IL. You'll collaborate with educators and therapists to ensure students receive the care they need to succeed both academically and personally.

Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt interventions to meet varied student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing student-specific therapy plans Provide direct treatment to students according to established goals Document and report progress in accordance with school and professional standards Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student growth and participation Utilize creative and evidence-based methods to help students improve fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Participate in IEP meetings as requested and contribute valuable input Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
