PRN (As Needed) Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. The COTA will assist the Occupational Therapist in providing treatment to patients, helping them improve their ability to perform daily activities, mobility, and functional tasks. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide occupational therapy activities and interventions under the direction of the OT.
  • Assist patients with exercises, functional activities, and daily living tasks.
  • Monitor and report patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Provide compassionate, professional, and patient-centered care.
  • Follow applicable clinical, safety, and documentation standards. Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid COTA certification/license to practice in the State of Illinois.
  • Proven experience working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills. Compensation
