Job Description
New Graduates Welcome! The Occupational Therapy Assistant, Certified (COTA) provides compassionate, comprehensive treatment to maximize each client's functional potential in all areas of daily living including self-care, work and leisure. Treatment will be physician referred and directed and guided through collaboration with a Registered Occupational Therapist.
Position Qualifications Minimum Education:
Requires a graduate of a two-year college Occupational Therapy Assistant program with an Associate Degree.
Minimum Experience:
One year experience in a health care setting
Preferred Experience:
Two to three years of experience in a health care setting.
Certifications Required:
Certification of COTA by National Board for Health Care Professionals Certification of Occupation Therapy. Current CPR certification.
