Setting:

Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide skilled therapy services in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting serving the Muncie/Alexandria area. The ideal candidate enjoys working with adults and seniors and helping patients improve independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist Assist patients with ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, ROM, and activity tolerance Implement established plans of care Provide training with adaptive equipment and compensatory techniques Monitor patient response and communicate progress to the supervising OT Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active Indiana COTA license or ability to obtain SNF, LTC, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred New graduates are welcome to apply Strong communication and patient-care skills Why Apply? $35
