Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic and impactful position supporting young learners in an educational setting near Shawnee, KS. As a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you'll work alongside a team of Occupational Therapists, providing essential support across multiple campuses each week. This contract opportunity runs through the end of the school year, offering a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of students by collaborating with professionals who manage higher caseloads district wide. Ideal candidates thrive in an itinerant role, expertly balancing travel and varied environments while maintaining strong communication with supervising OTs and school staff. Your engagement will ensure consistent therapeutic support for students, while helping OTs deliver the highest standard of care.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active COTA certification and licensure in Kansas Previous school-based experience preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfort with flexible schedules and adapting to new school sites Reliable transportation for travel between campuses Ability to follow treatment plans and document progress accurately
Key Responsibilities:
