Our qualified team provides direct, comprehensive, individualized therapy services in a clinical (center-based) setting. It is our goal at Inspire to provide services in a compassionate, nurturing manner that will lead to positive changes in the lives and future of those we serve.
Registered Occupational Therapist Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for learning and implementing all aspects of Inspire's Core Values in all aspects of service delivery. Assist in completing evaluations that address patient's occupational therapy needs to determine best methods and strategies for therapies. Complete all required documentation utilizing electronic records system in a timely manner, including but not limited to daily session notes, evaluation reports, progress notes, and discharge notes Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary leadership team, collaborating for comprehensive treatment planning and ongoing quality of care improvement for Inspire clients and their families Participate in client treatment team meetings as necessary Effectively communicate with and provide guidance to clients, families, and all staff members Participate in staff training/ in-service days
Qualifications and Skills:
As needed, effectively supervises and mentors therapy assistants, providing timely suggestions, clear feedback, and guidance as needed. High degree of sensitivity towards all people. Ability to deal professionally with persons on a one to one basis. Excellent time management skills, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Basic to moderate technology skills as our records system is electronic Education and Experience Successful completion of an occupational therapy program from an accredited university. Must be currently licensed in the state of
